Is There a Difference Between Traditional and Mass Timber?

There's spanning limitations for traditional mass timber. You can't really easily transform a concrete or steel building with its larger span capabilities into a mass timber building. The challenge is how do we get it into schools and fraternities? It's part of the reason I'm talking about what I've just touched on in this podcast. And that's more true for mass timber than anything else I would suggest.
