Kierkegaard's Unhappy Consciousness

Kierkegaard sees this fundamental split between the impermanent and what Hegel calls here, the unchangeable. And so that's what Kierkegaard basically describes as this nature of existence. So, his existentialism has its basis in precisely the structure that Hegel's describing here. But to return to a psychoanalytic term, it's hysterical. I think that that's his position, that unhappy consciousness is hysterical and in love with its own unhappiness.
