Death Cab had a tumultuous 2001 in which they ran themselves ragged, trying to finish a record that would become the photo album. I think it basically just came down to not communicating about how we were feeling as most people in their mid 20s, early mid 20s do not do. And then thankfully the next day having had some time to sleep on it or to not sleep on it, come in the conclusion like, hey, we're going to take some time off. There are things on that record that I wish I had a chance to have a chance to do over again.
