Gary Sick: I'm interested in the notion that these are legitimate phenomena to study, but also that they could be representative of much more plausible explanations. He says he saw an object when he was young as a paper boy, and it went right over his head. Sick: It is not sufficient for me to use that as proof of anything except to myself. To me, it currently motivates me to continue to look into this because at some level, I want to prove not only to myself that I wasn't seeing something,. ButI want to prove to others that it's worth it.
