Arizome - The Root of a Tree
A rhisome is a root structure that does grow in a uniform direction or pattern. When you look at a rizome, there's no clear beginning, middle and end to what's going on. This is a much more accurate metaphor for delouse when it comes to how thought, ideas and movements link together. For example, consider two networks of roots that may in the past have been thought of as completely differete from each other. Let's say, political power and linguistics. Consider how ideas and linguistics often dictate the boundaries of how we're even able to talk about politics. How often throug history have we seen someone who specializes in linguistics writing extensive commentary
