Write Now with Scrivener
How Long Does It Take to Write a Book?
I'm not an outliner, which we'll get till later. But i do make a lot of notes possible scenes. I rarely ever know where the ending's going to be or how i'm going to get there. As soon as i feel now the pressure too, i really want to sit and write this opening scene,. then i sit down and i start. That probably takes a good portion of the time, maybe nine months, including revisions. Editon doesn't take very long. It never really takes me more than a week or two to go through the whole thing, make the changes or reject the changes. And it's always choice in the end.
