Lucius Caroline was posthumously condemned to death for crimes against the state, even though Catalina just killed him. This is the story at least. He's a young man, kind of like Krasas and Pompey, who are on Sulla's side after the Civil War is over. And there's some reason to be suspicious of the narrative that Salast gives us about Caroline, but we'll get to that later.
