There's a fully validating nodes which verify everything direct themselves and then there's this thing called a light client. A light client is where you just download the block headers and make sure that that is the accurate block header And then you assume that that header is valid. Basically you make an assumption That the block producers are a majority honest Or some people say majority correct. Um, but again The the danger with the light client is that if there is a dishonest majority All bets are off like you literally you lose every guarantee About that chain.
