The Norwegian Resistance in the Great Depression
Norway had been occupied by the Germans in 1939. Was there an active Norwegian resistance? Were the Norwegians part of British forces, as other nationalities would come to Britain for training and then be reinserted into their countries? Unlike France, where you had Vichy France, in Norway, the country was illegally occupied, and it was legal to resist - not easy to do so. Within Norway, there would be a very effective underground army, which would form called Milog,. And they would do amazing work.
