Adam Ed Rock wrote a letter to Time Out New York publicly apologizing for homophobic lyrics in the trio's first album, Linsons to Ill. The misogyny extended past the band's creative output as the group transitioned from punk to hip hop drummer Kate Schullenback was graciously dropped from the lineup because she didn't fit with bro-centric direction. "The fact that these guys sort of bent over and apologized, I think is just sort of, I mean, I guess they got some brownie points," he says.
