Aryanism in the Western Roman Empire
Most of the major barbarian kingdoms in the post Roman West adhered to a form of Aryanism. While Constantius in the 350s has the upper hand. He is still ordaining new bishops, new bishops are getting ordained and consecrated as needed. So that dynamic too of imperial power and Episcopal power that remains just as much part of this ongoing Gothic Arias in the 500s and 600s as it ever was.
