Third book coming out now is called Why Is The Peanut Shape That Way? And it's a collection of essays that is just... I love how you just can talk about these things with just like the straightest scientific face. It sounds like Jesse's written a whole bunch of books, so I'm going to mention another one, but he hasn't really.

Psychologist and author Jesse Bering joins us to talk about evolutionary psychology and his forthcoming book Perv. In the relatively uncontroversial part of the episode, we ask if homophobia is an adaptation and if women have evolved rape defenses.
