Apple and Goldman Sachs: A Comparison
Felix: Apple made it clear from the beginning that they were going to be very liberal in terms of allowing people to get the card. But Goldman typically has such a high-end business if they were doing a consumer card on their own I would imagine that their credit conditions would be much stricter than what Apple actually put out. Felix: From a marketing perspective, I think they really messed up and should have taken a lesson from Goldman's foray into consumer banking.
