The Link to Ecology
The ecological considerations feed all the way through to right to the end use and they become reasons to change more than just the engine or the classification of energy. The other thing that's worth mentioning when you talk about ecology there is waste. We use it once and then we deposit the unused portion into the world, just as carbon emissions are deposited into the atmosphere. And so the link to ecology becomes a lot clearer. Like I said before, how I'm a bit single-minded about emissions sometimes. But at the same time, I try and also recognize that there's a lot of really paralleled problems going on between the ecological crisis and the climate crisis.
