The Significance of the Word Lash in Rape Cases
I thought like this chapter was very compelling because it reminded me so much of the same kind of thing. It's always this sort of victim blaming narrative seems to circle around the fact that the reason something happened bad happened to this person is because they made a bad choice right and it's about you know their choices being bad rather than an understanding of larger structures or larger ways in which that nobody should be subject to harm. The fact that you are not taking that seriously in some ways to me was about a denial of humanity and personhood yeah definitely exactly. I mean even even after nirpa'a or even after any of the rape cases here right.
