The Shadow of Gratitude

Sally Kohn: It's not inappropriate to feel gratitude toward things of a kind. She says it makes our own lives go better to counter some of the negativity bias a lot of us have. Kohn: The love or appreciation aimed at something that does not merit it is false, and it seems to be the opposite of virtue.
