The Importance of Being Committed to Understanding Ideas
Jordan Plank: I get so tired of hearing people say, you know, studying theology, philosophy, ideas is not practical. It's just ivory tower stuff. And Lewis said it better than anybody said, good philosophy must exist if for no other reason, because bad philosophy needs to be answered. He says the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay are how Christ Himself calls us to light up the darkness.
