Is Your Identity Rooted in Christ?
In paul's way of doing ethics in ephesians and beyond, they coined another phrase that they called s catological realism. This is how identity works in paul and in the new testament, you are in a process of who you are becoming, who you really becoming. For most of us, think about it, our identity isn't rooted in christ at all - it's rooted in earth. And even if it is rooted in christ, for most of us,. it's based in the past, who we were in the present, who we are, not in the future... The end goal, realism, meaning having to do with reality.
