This is a reiteration of Nietzsche's writing on convictions and human, all too human, that it's one thing to have courage of conviction, but what's better is to have courage for an attack on your convictions. But I would just say as a personal note here, it's not obvious to me that everyone grows up, so to speak, attains maturity in this way. Many people remain in that state of youth forever.
