Aquinas' Theology of the Bible
I almost feel like theologians today feel compelled to give a kind of apologia for using the Bible or for the accuracy of the biblical text. Most of Aquinas' work is dedicated to removing obstacles to faith. It's not focused on establishing the historical reliability of the Old Testament or the New Testament and things like that. And I wonder if that's because he has this confidence that the grace of God will lead people to the act of faith if those obstacles are removed.
