We want to try to steal 20, 21 points. We've done it every way you can imagine. There's always some risk involved when you run a trick play. You know that, but there's such a reward at the end of it if you hit it. Some of our biggest victories have been because trick plays have worked out the way we needed em to. Just just a couple of years ago, against an instate rival, when i met carolina,. one of the biggest plays that broke the insty nc state game wide open was a trick play at a very pivotal time. The part where they got fainted was just the fun that we were having along with it.

How do you beat the big dogs at their own game with a smaller brand, in a smaller market and/or with a smaller budget? By changing the game.

Call it disruptive or guerilla marketing, but creativity has been at the foundation of the team's strategy. Anderson asks his staff the same question each day: What is no one else doing right now that we can pull off?
