The Importance of Serialization in Television

Sam Esmail: There was a sense that television was going to be more serialized from beginning to end. I, however, do not feel that way anymore. Even Netflix is making procedurals now, aren't they? He says he's looking for an old fashioned kind of show in something that feels contemporary or like the 70s Star Wars universe.
