The Moral Intuition of Fish
Fish brings up an interesting point for me, because it goes back to kind of the moral intuitionism, i guess. It seems to me very obvious that we should care about, like, mammals, which have a higher degree of intelligence than most other animals. But then for fish, it kind of falls apart. At least for me, the arguments that fish are or fully conscious beings, or or have the same kind of consciousness that even a cow would have is dubious.
