How to Correct Your Children in the Old Testament

This idea that we sometimes superimpose onto the Old Testament of an angry, vengeful, delightful God is wrong. In Scripture for whom the Lord loved us, he chases in it. He's just trying to correct at this point, correct Israel and Judah, pretty harsh measures as we'd say, but correct them just as he tries to correct us. We'll talk a lot more about that when we get to Hosea.
