How to Write on a Dell Laptop
Nick Pip writes on a Dell laptop attached to a massive projector. He runs for an hour in the morning and has something to eat before writing. Most of his work is not writing, but he does do some shorter pieces. The Aaron Banks profile I just did for the New Yorker was not my idea. But as soon as someone said at the magazine, fancy profiling Aaron Banks, I thought that sounds amazing. Do you recommend other writers when you turn down a piece? I don't always do. It's quick and dirty, but it's not unsatisfying.
