John locke was a physician, scientist and member of royal society. He wrote the practical manual for education in the eighteenth century. His theory is that learning should be imbued by the psychology of the learner. No practice makes perfect idea, not in but not in a primitive way. There wasn't an essex an enlightenment, unfortunately.
