The election changed people's notion of what was tolerable. We all crave politicians who are authentic, and certainly that was one of the big appeals of donald trump. But sometimes youve argued, or your research has found, that authenticity is a way to express more subtle feelings. An authentic person is somebody who says what i feel when i can't say it myself.
