TikTok and the Chinese Communist Party
TikTok CEO Shoo-Choo appeared before US Congress and was grilled for over five hours. She was asked if if ByteDance executives have ties to the Chinese Communist Party. TikTok has promised to get Project Texas running by the end of the year. It's a pledge to shift all US data to domestic servers whilst letting Oracle, obviously a US based company, act as the third party overseer.
