The Self-Deception of Conservatives

In conservative circles, there is a tendency naturally to do an affirmative action thing. There is this very self-conscious avoidance of trying to be called racist and so that's the way to cope with it somehow. I'm not here to tell anybody what to think, or what to believe, but for me, somebody like that doesn't really have any place in the conservative movement because it's weird. We need to be honest with ourselves about this stuff, and consistent. That's part of being a good Christian, right? It's being consistent. And your hyper focus on it is kind of weird."
