There's a Lot of Space in Space
We live in a spur of one of the arms of our galaxy called the Orion Arm. As you go further into the galaxy toward the supermassive black hole at the center, you get much older and older stars. Our sun's around 5 billion years old at a bit of a middle-aged sort of star. And we find that there's actually lots of neutron stars and black holes just flung out from different supernovae events. Why are the older stars towards the center? That is a great question that I'm going to fire to Devika.
