The Comforter Promised to the Apostles
The first is the Holy Ghost, the second is Jesus Christ. Both are spoken of in this discourse and both are called the spirit of truth. This is one of the things that the early Christian church started to lament, that the visions and revelations were gone. We read about this in the D.D.K. where it talks about the church as an old and failing woman. I think we need to emphasize that it's on his timetable.
