Ford and the Pinto: A Plan to Delay the Process

Ford and the Pinto had a problem on their hands. They knew they couldn't withstand 20 miles an hour. This would have meant a complete redesign on the Pinto. So Ford came up with a plan basically to, shall we say, delay the process. The point was they just wanted to delay things so they could keep selling it.
