How Much Fluid Should You Drink?

There's debate among scientists as to whether you need to be pragmatic or regimented about fluid intake. What I would recommend is if you want to take more of a regimented approach and you don't want to rely just on your thirst, is to start going out maybe once or twice a month in different environmental conditions. You can figure out your sweat rate in different environments,. That at least gives you some sort of gauge that allows you to make informed decisions about how much you want to hydrate.
