The basic premise is, racism is not a behavior of individuals against other individuals. It's thing that is systemic. And as such, it cannot be eradicated without some kind of extremely radical transformation. So his question is, what do you do in the face of that you cannot change, but you still feel compelled to take action? Did i get that roughly right as the thesis of the book? I think it.
