The Risk Factor in Investing in Technology
The transition from a digital world to this web 2.0 world was always a question of timing, right? There's a bit of irony in the sense that, 10 years before a product cycle, sometimes enthusiasm is at its maximum point and that attracts capital. I think we saw that happen in this space and there are graveyards littered with some of those ideas and investments. So looking at the LBE world, yeah, there is less developed certainly in the United States than I would have thought at this point. But the bet here is that I think the percolation of people doing immersive experiences is expanding every day.
