How to Be a Successful Comic

A lot of times comics, you know, they get door deals. You make your money off of how many butts are in the seats as opposed to a guarantee. It could be some other scams. I do percentage deals a lot because it's a show in good faith. Because what happens is if you go and perform at a club and you have a guarantee and you don't do well, then they're writing you a check that they don't want to write you. They're bombed. And I never want to leave the club,. you know, the club owner being stiffed. Right.
