As we enter into the renewal of the agreements that govern the $2.3 billion in annual funding transfers, the federal government has to be able to provide a more sustainable and sustainable infrastructure. Different regions across the country have different needs and require different levels of infrastructure investments. A lot of progress had been made since this program was set up in 2017. But as we work through the last few billions at the end, what we've observed is that taking a cookie cutter approach doesn't necessarily reflect the different contexts across this really big country.
