Introduction

Roney Doggoloa is the first Pacific island settlement to relocate because of rising sea levels. Fiji has highlighted 42 villages across dozens of its many islands for potential relocation within five to ten years. Rising sea level is one of the most direct effects of climate change. The biggest concern is that scientists are telling us that in the next 50 years, we could be completely submerged by the ocean. That's a huge concern and it's a matter of survival.
