Modern science education encourages students not to be creative in their scientific thinking, but to really just focus on the tedious work of collecting data. In this respect, i think you do acknowledge that your thinking is consistent with that of thomas coon,. Because the scientist receives a kind of safety net in which to work with. You don't have to worry that your world is going to fall apart. All you have to do is worry about playing game really well.
