What Are the Big Five and the History of Personality Psychology?

The big five measures, as the name implies, five traits. If you're low on conscientiousness, that doesn't mean you're abysmally low. It just means you're low relative to other people. These are not clinical measures of personality. A sixth factor called honesty and humility can be useful in measuring a personality.
