Bicycle Helmets and Fall Prevention in Hospitals

Bicycle helmets are often brought up in the aftermath of a cyclist being killed. But what i think is important to point out, and the relationship between bicycle helmet and fall prevention, is rules and laws about these issues. So we see in bicycle helmets, we see laws requiring bicycle helmet use, and that's what i really think isn't useful. Also, you also see fall prevention rules in hospitals. And essentially what these two concept say is that these things are required, and therefore they are massively over emphasized in their ability to protect people. It focuses on how the problem of an accident is this one person misbehaving, rather than protecting people when they inevitably make a mistake.
