The Sound of the Spartans
The sound of the spartans feet is a brave choice to mix loudly. An autobathurst was adamant that they needed to sound massive, but also stealthy and agile. We took those footsteps that were triggered by the sampler, we reversed them, applied the reverb, reversed that again,. Now you have a swelling into each footstep, which is basically a move. And along with that there's a little bit of machine-like texture as well. So i'm completely happy too just kind of tell the workfellow that we came up with, because i think it's kind of an interesting one, and i don't think it's been done before.
