The Pandemic Was Not the Root Cause
There have been over 800 thousand deaths related to corona virus in the us. So there's been a wave of retirements. And also, another factor that we should acknowledge that i haven't seen mentioned specifically, is that some workers have died. All of these are results that you could see flowing from the pandemic itself. But there are other factors at work too, where the pandemic might be a precipitating factor, but it was not the root cause.
