We're at 1.2 degree degrees of warming from pre-industrial levels the initial threshold was 1.5 degrees we got to keep it below that what we're gonna blow past that in the next decade or two and now that the new threshold is is two degrees of warming. The rate of warming is unprecedented so for example at the end of the last ice age roughly 10,000 years ago as the earth is coming out of this glacial period into an interglacial period there's obviously this dramatic warming which melts all the glaciers.
