The Effects of Carbohydrates on Weight Gain

In one study, people who were told to eat as much or as little as they wanted still ate 500 more calories per day on the ultra-processed diet. With a low-carb insulin model, you would predict that a low- carb group would do much, much better in this group of overweight people but it didn't. And with our algorithm, they score about the same in satiety per calorie. It's a better predictor.
