All of our old hierarchies, in my opinion, are crumbling. That doesn't mean that we're going to go mad macs here. In terms of the political classes, for example, i'm actually worried about the political class being able to catch up. They are trying to manage to a world that stopped existing in the early seventies. Go back to the nineteenth century and you'll see a very different america.
