When we're looking at investments, we want to understand what is this learning getting us to? What is it going to return for us? For your career, presumably, you want learning to return to you some kind of value. A lot of times, we imagine that developing expertise in an area is enough to provide us the opportunities that we need. Developing a deep level of expertise in JavaScript is very different thandeveloping a deeplevel of expertise in COBOL.
