Is God's Return Mirroring Our Return?
Vashav Hashemelokarra, et t'chuvutra, and God will return you from your captivity. This is a great undoing, great returning. By Rabbi Forman's logic, this second part of God's return is supposed to mirror the second part of our return in verse two to return Adha Shem until God. Is that parallel? To see it, think about the distinction between individuals and community. How should we return as individuals? If trauma separated aspects of yourself, you have to reclaim your heart... You can't leave any of it behind.
