What Happened to Silicon Valley Bank?

Silicon Valley bank's deposits quadrupled in a couple of years or at least tripled. They couldn't even loan it out as fast as it was coming in, so they bought treasury bonds. Once you buy them, the interest on those is fixed. So last Wednesday, SVB makes this announcement saying that they have to sell some of those bonds and raise equity from investors.
