The Importance of Agape

We have created a Christian dualism between our sexuality, our eros, our desires and God's love. We've said destroy eros and make agape impossible because we're worried about works based righteousness. So in my life as a gay man, it's like delete your gay identity and embrace Christ. Or it's delete Jesus and embrace being gay. Oh, the damage this has done. Not just to the LGBTQI plus community but to the straight cisgender community as well. To humanity. I think it's a really bad teaching."
